May or December?

My three year old daughter keeps looking outside and saying "It is not Christmas"
That is right Kate.
It is not.
But you would never know it.
This was my backyard May 2, 2010. And no I don't live in Alaska. They probably didn't have this much snow yesterday even.
That is why my kitchen sink looks like this
Please warm up. My plants have outgrown their start containers and my kicthen sink is suppose to be for dishes only.
I did find this garlic sprout under the snow though. It almost cheered me up.

  1. Snow??? What the heck??? I bought a start container this year, finally found them at Home Depot. Figure I can start some lettuce inside and keep rotating it out to the yard once it's big enough. It's about to become too hot to grow lettuce around here (I think... this is my first go). Today we're going to be at 92 degrees...

  2. Wow, that's crazy! It's pretty hot here - mid 80s. It was 90-something yesterday. I know that I would have given just about anything for the cold yesterday. When I woke up, it was 82 degrees in our house. Just think warm thoughts.
