Family Favorite- Crock Pot Asian Chicken

This is the easiest crock pot meal I make repeatedly.
Usually every week.
It is a family favorite.
The first time I served it to Samurai when he was about 11 months old he ate two entire chicken thighs, along with some rice and begged for more.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 6 hours on low

Ingredients
6 or more frozen chicken thighs- with skin and bones (bonus it is super cheap)
10 oz any brand soy sauce
3 cloves crushed garlic
2 tablespoons Marjoram (a spice you may have used in stuffing or something)

1.place frozen chicken thighs in crock pot.
2. cover with soy sauce
3. mix in garlic and Marjoram.
4. try to evenly cover each piece.
5. set on low for 6 hours.
6. Serve it over your family's favorite white rice.

Using chicken thighs with bones and skin is a little more work while you are eating. It is kind of like eating a rotisserie chicken. But the flavor and texture of the meat is much better if it is cooked this way. Just the right amount of sauce and spice is absorbed through the skin. Plus like I mentioned before- it is a very cheap selection of meat and that doesn't hurt either.

This is also a great dish to bring in when your neighbor has a baby or is sick etc.
It is easy, cheap, keeps well and is a crowd pleaser.

  1. I like the sound of the flavours in this - the marjoram and garlic sound scrumptious. Thanks for sharing such an easy and delicious recipe!
